Kelli Garner and Paula Garces will play two cheerleaders in Revolution Studios' comedy Cheer Up, starring Tommy Lee Jones. The film features a hard-edged FBI agent who is forced to go undercover as an assistant cheerleading coach after a group of cheerleaders witness a murder.
Garner and Garces will play Barb and Therese, two of the cheerleaders protected by Jones. The movie starts filming in Austin, Texas this October, with Stephen Herek at the helm. Rob Ramsey and Matt Stone, who wrote Universal's Intolerable Cruelty, and John J. McLaughlin and Scott Lobdell penned the script.
Garner is wrapping Martin Scorsese's The Aviator and Good Machine's Thumbsucker. Garces recently appeared in Paramount's Marci X. She will next star in the New Line comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.
